"My name is Betty Lou. I live in St.Louis,Mo .on January 21st,2004  I was at my daughters house-I started to get out of my chair and I tripped over the chair leg- it sent me end over end and I hit the basement door. I slammed against the door and sat down very hard. It knocked the wind out of me and I was in terrible pain.

My daughter took me to the emergency room at the hospital. They took  x-rays and they showed I had a fracture of the back. My lumbar area near the spine.

So they gave me this big  hard plastic back brace to wear. It was so uncomfortable, but I wore it anyway. My Orthopedic doctor said I should have to wear it probably at least until August. It usually takes a year for this kind of injury to completely heal.

My friend, Alma told me about the St.Louis Healing rooms- I called. Joan Gieson on March 11th,2004 and she said "come on over" and they would pray for me. When I got there Joan said "You're going to be alright" -

So two ladies prayed with me- I felt good after they prayed, but didn't feel totally healed- I still had pain

So I sat in a chair and waited for my friend to finish her time, Joan said "come here- I want to pray for you" So she prayed for me- lifted me up on her back- my feet weren't touching the floor- and as she prayed HEAT went down my back- she said" I believe you're going to throw that brace and begin to run around the room. - That's exactly what I did. -I ran and ran and ran and I couldn't stop running-Praise God- I left the back brace at the healing room center and I can't wait to get to my doctor and get the x-ray we'll be surprised.
